Those who read the two most widely published aircraft modelling periodicals, Scale Aviation Modeller International and Scale Aircraft Modelling, both edited in their time by the erstwhile Mr Gary Hatcher, will probably remember the 580 Modellers Show Report which detailed their exploits in attending and exhibiting at shows and included a listing of impending shows well before any other publications subsequently took up the idea.  Much shorter lived, but also widely regarded, was the Show Dragon column which explained and exposed the workings of a model show and the challenges faced by organisers, exhibitors and punters.  Well I am very happy to announce, as the author of these (yes that was me too!) that both of these columns are back!

Show Report will return in its proven format, with a report on the shows we visit along with some photographs of the event highlights.

Show Dragon will return but with a slightly different angle on things.  It will continue to explore the workings of the show scene, but also broaden its attention into other aspects of plastic modelling.
